Formlabs Resin

Clear Cast Resin is a resin designed for investment casting, to directly print patterns that can be invested and cast. It has an extremely low thermal expansion, low ash, and no trace heavy metals.

Clear Cast Resin, paired with a latticing software, is recommended for use with larger parts, excelling at producing geometries thicker than 3 mm.

With a 40% wax fill and low expansion, Castable Wax 40 Resin supports a wide range of lost wax casting conditions and is compatible with leading gypsum investments, producing superior results for jewelers who outsource casting. Supports print resolutions: 50 and 25 microns.

Provides excellent print quality: sharp, crisp surface detail, smooth surfaces with little layer visibility, and low to no ash content (0.0 - 0.1%). Supports print resolutions: 50 and 25 microns.

BioMed White Resin is a rigid material for biocompatible applications requiring long-term skin contact or short-term mucosal membrane contact. Unique in the Formlabs portfolio, this medical-grade material is also USP <151> Pyrogen and Acute Systemic toxicity tested and can be used in applications with short-term tissue, bone, and dentin contact. It's also USP Class VI certified which makes it suitable for pharmaceutical and drug delivery applications.

Alumina 4N Resin is a high-density and high-purity technical ceramic resin. Thermally resistant, hard, abrasion resistant, mechanically strong, and chemically inert.

Please Note: Requires Ceramic Wash Solution.

Alumina 4N Resin has a total shelf life of 3 months at room temperature. Refrigerating resin (at -10–4 °C) can add up to 12 months of additional shelf life.

BioMed Elastic 50A Resin is a soft, elastic, medical-grade material for applications requiring comfort, biocompatibility, and transparency. This ISO 10993 and USP Class VI certified material is made in an FDA-registered, ISO 13485 facility and can be used in applications for long-term skin contact (>30 days), and short-term mucosal membrane contact (<24 hours).

BioMed Black is a rigid material with a matte finish for biocompatible applications requiring long-term skin contact or short-term mucosal membrane contact. Parts printed with BioMed Black Resin are compatible with common solvent disinfection and sterilization methods. BioMed Black Resin is manufactured in an ISO 13485 facility and is also USP Class VI certified which makes it suitable for pharmaceutical and drug delivery applications. Supports print resolutions: 100 and 50 microns.

BioMed Amber v1 Resin is a strong, stiff material for biocompatible applications requiring short-term skin or mucosal membrane contact. Parts printed with BioMed Amber Resin are compatible with common solvent disinfection and sterilization methods. Requires Form 2, Form 3B, or Form 3BL for printing. Supports print resolutions: 100 and 50 microns (printer dependent). Post-curing required.

Formlabs' softest Engineering Resin, this 50A Shore durometer material is suitable for prototyping parts normally produced with silicone. Supports print resolutions: 100 microns. Post-curing required.

Reinforced with glass to offer very high stiffness and polished finish, highly resistant to deformation over time and great for printing thin walls and features. Requires UV post-cure to reach optimal mechanical properties. Supports print resolutions: 100 and 50 microns.

High Temp Resin has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 238 °C @ 0.45 MPa—the highest among Formlabs resins. Use it to print detailed, precise prototypes with high thermal stability. Supports print resolutions: 100, 50, and 25 microns (printer dependent). Post-curing required.

Durable Resin is the most pliable, impact resistant, and lubricious material in our functional family of Tough and Durable Resins. Supports print resolutions: 100 and 50 microns (printer dependent). Post-curing required.

BioMed Clear Resin is a hard, strong material for biocompatible applications requiring long-term skin or mucosal membrane contact. This USP Class VI certified material is suitable for applications that require wear resistance and low water absorption over time.
